What We Do
Advocacy
We advocate for the recognition and growth of the health informatics profession within Uganda and beyond, working closely with government agencies, professional organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the importance of health informatics in improving healthcare delivery.
Capacity Building
We provide training, professional development opportunities, and resources to support the continuous learning and skill development of health informatics professionals in Uganda. Our capacity-building efforts aim to enhance the expertise and capabilities of our members and contribute to the overall advancement of the field.
Collaboration
We facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among our members, as well as with academic institutions, research organizations, healthcare providers, and technology vendors. By fostering partnerships and collaborative initiatives, we strive to drive innovation and address key challenges in healthcare delivery through the effective use of information technology.
Research and Innovation
We promote research and innovation in health informatics through grants, scholarships, and awards programs. By supporting cutting-edge research projects and fostering a culture of innovation, we aim to generate new knowledge, insights, and solutions that contribute to the improvement of healthcare outcomes in Uganda.
